true love stories
take a look at some recent work
Alanna + Marcus // Alanna and Marcus are those people you see out and instantly want to be their friend. They were high school lab partners and there was a lot of *ahem* chemistry. She was a cheerleader, he was in band. Basically the material for every early T Swift song, okay? Lots of years later, they gathered their nearest and dearest, jumped the broom and got marriedddddd! Here we go!
Cara + Rakan // Like many others, once the pandemic hit Cara and Rakan had to pivot. Their pivot turned into a sweet intimate ceremony with their families, and a super fun ceremony a year later (keep your eyes peeled for that post!).
Kendra // Laurel Creek Creative Session
Kendra is one of my favorite “friendors” - a fellow wedding vendor who has become a friend. She owns Laurel Creek Florals and grows and designs beautiful florals for weddings! We spent a splendid Sunday playing in Laurel Creek, she used some leftover flowers that would’ve been headed for the compost pile, I brought a dress from Opal Bride, and well, this happened.
SG + Eli // secret Joshua Tree elopement
SG and Eli told not a soul (except me!) about their plans to elope in Joshua Tree. They planned a hiking trip out west that turned into their honeymoon and casually got hitched along the way. I can’t help but feel fortunate for the special experiences people trust me with when thinking about this trip. I met up with them at their Airbnb the night before, they cooked me dinner (the sweeties!!) and we shot some fun portraits under the stars. The next day they got ready together and we all went into the park, headed to their permitted ceremony spot, and soaked up all the intimate natural goodness. Eli wore a flower crown, SG made her own wedding dress, it was the best. Here’s the proof.
